Why God’s Timing is Perfect? Daily Devotional 31st day of Lent

God's Timing is Perfect Devotional

God’s timing is perfect. Why? Because He is God. And God Himself is absolutely perfect.

Lent Daily Devotional

“They tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.” (John 7:30)

God’s Timing is Perfect

Has Jesus’ hour not yet come? Because God has His own perfect timing.

What does this mean? We have fixed deadlines, fixed time, limited duration, etc. And this is tragically limited by the material world, so imperfect compared to God.

God is free from all such circumstances. His agenda is entirely independent of our agenda or calendar.

Nor are we impatient and unable to wait wisely for the right moment.

We need to understand that God’s action happens at the most reasonable time. But it may seem too late because we want “everything right now.”

Everything happens at the perfect moment in time. But perfect according to God’s timing, not man’s.

Salvation is God’s Priority

As we study the Bible and dig deeper into our faith, we learn that God’s highest priority is our salvation. In God’s eyes, our material well-being does not come first.

He is clear about this: “What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” (Matthew 16:26)

This is a critical condition for nurturing our relationship with God.

The Timing of your Life is in Your Hands

God knows everything. But don’t let this fact fool you.

God has called you to life. He has given you a specific time for your existence here. And your calling is to use this time for the glory of God and the good of people.

Therefore, you not only can but must plan your time effectively. Therefore, your timing is critical.

But God’s Word teaches us that our wisdom must prevail over our emotional impatience. Faith and trust in God must be the foundation of every Christian’s timing. Ultimately, patience, which comes from God’s grace, enables us to be in the right place at the right time and to make the most of the chance and opportunity God has given us.

Lent reminds you that you cannot sit back and wait for God to decide for you. This is your life. Get to work, take the initiative, and be a leader, and God will surely come to your aid and bless you as long as you live here on earth.

Prayer for Today

Lord, you are perfect, and your timing is perfect. Thank You for answering my prayers in Your perfect timing.

Give me wisdom and prepare my heart for your answer, which will come at the right time. Help me to keep hope and faith when the waiting will take longer. Strengthen me to persevere in prayer and not give up. Give me Your grace to remain calm in the face of negative emotions and not let anger or frustration dominate. Thank You, Lord, for answering my prayers with divine wisdom at the right time. Amen.
