Truck drivers prayer. Have you ever thought about truck driver and what their life consists of? Do you ever wonder how hard it might be to work as a truck driver?
For many, it means leaving their homes late in the evening to drive all night. It involves kissing their family goodbye, knowing they might not see one another for at least a week or two. Finally, it means receiving a call in the “middle of the day” that your son or daughter has broken their leg on the playground at school.
It means feeling like a part-time parent because you are several states away and can’t be there to nurture those you love most. It means being judged by family and friends because you are making a living to provide.
With all these difficulties in mind, do you think it is vital for truck drivers to pray? Well, it is no doubt crucial that truck drivers should pray. Look at all the situations that they have to face! Indeed, they need to draw strength from the Lord.
The Bible says in Psalm 73:26: “My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and portion forever.”
If you are a truck driver and not sure how to pray, please consider using this model of a truck driver’s prayer to go by.
A Truck Drivers Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for this day and the opportunity to travel on the road as a truck driver. I ask for your protection and guidance as I navigate traffic and reach my destination safely.
Grant me patience and calmness on this journey. Help me maintain a peaceful and loving heart toward all I encounter on the road. Please bless my vehicle and its systems and keep me free from harm or danger.
I pray for all other drivers on the road that you keep them safe and help us all work together to arrive at our destinations safely.
Most importantly, thank you for your love, grace, and mercy. I trust in your plan for my life, and I ask that you reveal your will to me so that I may serve you to the best of my abilities. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
A Truck Driver’s Prayer
Dear Lord, Tonight I travel out on the road once more. Each time I leave, my heart stays home with my family. I ask that you protect my family while I am not there. You are our Great Provider. I also ask that you keep me safe through long working hours and driving long distances. Please help me get adequate rest at night so I can drive refreshed. Most importantly, keep me close to you at all times. Lord, I am only human, but hear the prayer of this lorry driver. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
Prayer for My Truck Driver Husband
Heavenly Father, I come to you today to lift my husband, a truck driver. Lord, I ask for your protection and guidance to be with him as he travels on the road. Keep him safe from all harm and danger, and grant him the wisdom and skill to navigate through traffic and reach his destination safely.
I pray for your peace and comfort to surround him and for you to fill his heart with joy and contentment. Please help him to remain focused on you, even when the road is long and the journey is tiring. Give him strength and energy to carry out his responsibilities, and bless him with good health and rest.
I ask that you be present in his thoughts and conversations, that he senses your presence, and that he uniquely feels your love. I pray that he will continue to grow in his faith and trust in you and that his life will reflect your light and truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Communicate on the Road with God
