Discipline your mind for success with God – Prayer for January 12. A mind is a strong tool, whatever you want to do or become comes from the mind. We must then discipline our minds for success so we can achieve success with God.

“Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name” (Psalm 86:11)
When you want to grow stronger, attain a new level, prosper, begin to fear the Lord, or become successful, you have to learn to use your mind effectively. Your mind is a tool that can be disciplined. You can tame the mind, or teach it to focus on just a single direction instead of vacillating in thoughts. If you achieve this, then you able to use your mind to achieve great success and make it go in the way of the Lord. Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you”.
By focusing your mind on the Lord, you are disciplining your mind to focus on the word of God concerning you and what you are doing. Focusing your mind on the word attracts not only prosperity but also good success. Joshua 1:8. Take your mind away from anything and everything that can distract you, and focus your attention on God. Moving with people who love the Lord can help make it easy for you to discipline your mind and focus on God for success.
Success with God Prayer for Today
The word of the Lord influences and dominates my mind. It produces in me the ability to do right at all times. The world and it’s negative can’t influence my thought because my life is a reflection of the beauty and excellence of Christ! I think only of those thoughts that bring him glory, honor, and praise.
God, I discipline my mind for success and I wipe out all negative thoughts that will affect my life negatively. I think only of success, my mind will think of success alone and not of failure. All I do today will be successful in Jesus name. Amen.
