Being dedicated to God – Prayer for July 10. You can be a treasure that God cherishes a lot. But it will only happen if you dedicate yourself to him and do all he says. Then, when you are a treasure to God, people will also see you as theirs because you will be valuable to them.
Bible Verse for Today
For the LORD has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His special treasure. (Psalm 135:4)
If God can make Jacob a treasure, not just a treasure but a special one, then consider yourself a treasure to God only if you can submit yourself to his will.
This is true; God cherishes his people, those who obey and follow him closely. When you do this also, you turn yourself into a treasure God keeps. God can choose you to become his treasure. He will not allow evil to happen to you because you are valuable.

The way we keep our treasures and shield them away from thieves is the way God will protect us away from our enemies.
The only condition to become God’s treasure is in Malachi 3:16-17 “Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name. ‘They shall be mine,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘On the day that I make them my jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.’
You can also be a treasure to people when you do what is right and affect lives positively. They will take you as their treasure. Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” The scripture shows that people cherish the righteous, which makes the righteous to be a treasure.
Being dedicated to God Prayer for Today
Lord, I thank you for making a treasure for you and the people around me. You cherish me a lot that you allowed your only son to die for my sins. I promise to be dedicated to God. I’m happy that I am a treasure. Please, Lord, help me not to lose my value. Do not let me be like an ordinary worthless stone in Jesus’ name. Amen.
