Heavenly Father, we celebrate Easter with hearts full of gratitude for our Saviour, Your Son Jesus. We give thanks for his sacrifice on the cross and his resurrection. He provides us with the hope of eternal life. We thank you for your mercy, love, and grace, which continually guides and sustains us in all life’s challenges. Help us always to remember your love and to share it with others. May the gratitude and joy that fill our hearts today remain within us. We ask you in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.
2Prayer of Renewal
Heavenly Father, as we commemorate the resurrection of your Son at Easter, we ask for your grace to renew our faith, which is the foundation of our life. We ask for the grace to renew our hope, which illuminates the path of life. And we ask for the grace to renew our love, which is the driving force of life.
The temptations of the world often lead us away from the Truth. Therefore, we ask for your help to focus on the purpose and meaning of life, on the vocation you have given us. Please give us the strength to overcome our doubts. Help us renew our desire to be the world’s light, spreading your love and comfort to all we meet on our way to the Kingdom of Heaven. 3Prayer of Forgiveness
Merciful God, today, on the Feast of the Resurrection, we come to You asking forgiveness for our sins and shortcomings. Unfortunately, we often lose your glory in our lives because of our weaknesses. Therefore, we ask for your mercy. Help us, Lord, to rise again to a new life. Also, please give us the strength to forgive bitterness, anger, and resentment in others and forgive as you have forgiven us. We pray for the courage to seek reconciliation and love our enemies as Christ taught us. Finally, we pray that you will cleanse us from all unrighteousness and grant us your peace. 4The Prayer of Salvation
Loving God, we pray for all those who are lost in darkness and do not know Your Son, Jesus Christ. Please be merciful to them, reveal your love, and draw them into your grace. Today we pray especially for our family, friends, neighbors, and those far from You. May they experience the power and hope of Christ’s resurrection. We also pray for all persecuted Christians, for members of the body of Christ throughout the world, that they may remain firm in their faith and witness to your love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, on this day of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, we pray for the resurrection of the whole world. May humanity, torn apart by conflict, division, and war, rise to peace and unity. We pray that people of all nations and faiths may unite in love and respect for one another, recognizing every person’s inherent dignity and worth.
Lord, heal the broken relationships and reconcile the estranged. Grant that we may all, leaving behind our pride, strive for the common good and seek to build bridges of understanding and cooperation.
We pray especially for heads of state and politicians that they may be guided not by pride and ambition but by your wisdom and grace and seek justice and compassion. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
