“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” (Act 20:32)
It is by the word of God that Christians are born. For this reason, we can only grow and build up through the word. We can also face anything that may come our way on day 1 Peter 2:2 “As newborn babies, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby.” The word of God can touch every part of your life.
If you don’t have so much courage, the word of God is always there to encourage you.

Benefits are attached to the word of God (Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:1-3). First, the word gives life, and it is in the word that there is sure safety. Romans 8:13 says, “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the spirit mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
The word is also helpful in waging some spiritual warfare; it’s a weapon on its own (Hebrew 4:12).

Dear Lord, you have brought me to this new day again. It is an opportunity from you for me to get the best of today. Thank you for yesterday; you did well, and I trust you for a better day today.
Lord, I want to thank you for your love. I want to thank you because your love never ends. I depend on your word and your word alone, Lord. I want to grow in the word and never stop growing.
Growing in your word attracts so many blessings and brings one closer to you. I desire these, Lord; therefore, I request your help to continue in your word so that I will grow. Your word also brings excellent ideas. Let your word give me great ideas that will change my life forever. Amen.
