Jesus, I depend on you – Prayer for June 5. We must not be stagnant in life, we need to depend on Jesus for promotion today.
Bible Verse for Today
“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” (Psalm 75:6-7)
Promotion can come from anywhere, men can promote you but be sure that they can demote you also. The promotion from men is not certain and it can be disappointing.
That is why Jesus is the only source of promotion. When men promote you, they expect something in return but when God promotes you, you will be filled with joy and you will have total peace of mind.
To have a promotion from God, you must make him your ally, you must partner with him. It is never too hard for God to promote you, he has been doing it before.
He promoted Joseph from being a prisoner to a governor in a strange land. That beyond the power of any man. God also promoted Joshua from a messenger to be a leader. If God can promote all these people in the past, then be sure that trusting him for promotion will let you get the best of him and get promoted.
If you want God to promote you, you must rely on him and not on your own efforts. Also, God cannot promote someone who is not doing anything. Acknowledge and say in your prayers, Jesus I depend on you.
Jesus I Depend on you Prayer for Today
Lord, I thank you for my life in your hands. You are the one I’m depending upon and I know you cannot put me to shame. I thank you for the salvation my soul. I thank you for yesterday and I’m thanking you for today too.
Your word says “promotion does not come from the east, west, nor from the south” because promotion comes from you alone. I’m trusting you for promotion, I believe you have the power to lift me up from my current position right now. You did the same to Joseph, from the prison to the palace. You did for Daniel too. Lord I want you to do the same for me too. Give me the kind of promotion that will daze people and even me. Amen.
