However, Philippians 4:6-8 states: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. It is important that students acknowledge that their help comes from the Lord who is the maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). A time of graduation is equally important because it distinguishes a milestone within the life of the student. Also, it is shows a huge accomplishment to family members, teachers and friends, in turn sharing this special day with those who have helped and supported them along the way.
A time of graduation gives an opportunity for graduates to celebrate and reflect on the journey of their learning and the plans ordained by God, thus taking a step closer to future goals. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
How we can pray for help
We can give support and help to individuals preparing to pass exams and planning graduations by offering prayers of strength for exam success: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13). We can also offer help by carrying their burdens of anxiety and stress, thus fulfilling the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).

Father we thank You for who You are. You are The Creator of Heaven and Earth. We pray that you would be with all students as they prepare for their exams. We exercise faith in You because, You are omniscient (all knowing). Father, we ask that You calm anxiety and nervous thoughts from the mind of every person preparing for exam success.We ask that every student will be able to approach their exam with confidence and with a clear mind. We pray that every student will do their best and that You will bring to the forefront of their minds all that they have learnt over the course of their studies. We offer this prayer to pass exams and for great success and prosperity in the Name of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Amen.
