Believe and see the glory of God – Prayer for September 2. Praise the Lord, everybody! For those believers who want to get to a level in their relationship with God where they can see God’s glory at work in their lives, there is a place where it can happen, but only God can place you there.
Bible Verse for Today
“And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the Lord said, behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.” (Exodus 33: 18-23)

God wants us to know today that there is a place we can get to where we can see the glory of God at work in our lives. Every year, many believers make resolutions to have closer walks with God. We want to see God, and we want to spend more quality time in His presence. But we never seem to get to that point, and sometimes, we get a little frustrated and begin to wonder if we’ll ever get there.
We want to see God, and spend more time in His presence
Getting to these clefts is no easy task. It requires much dedication to prayer and fasting, denying oneself to experience God’s fullness in our lives. It’s time to stop going to Church on Sundays and singing “God is my all and all!” and start making Him you’re all in all so you can experience His fullness through your life. Believe and see the glory of God! Start today, and never give up that dream. God bless you all.
Believe and See the Glory of God Prayer for Today
Father God, we desire to dwell in your presence, to see your glory pass through our lives in our lifetimes. Lord, help us get to that “cleft in the rock” where we need to be. Show us the place where you desire us to be. I want to see the glory of God! In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
