Prayer for January 23. As Christians, we are entitled to the peace of God, the peace that makes all things work in our favor and makes us do things with ease. Let’s ask for peace for today.
Bible Verse for Today
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
Peace of God
Do you really know what the peace of God is? It surpasses all things in this world. When you enjoy peace, all men will be at peace with you, and anything you do will be in your favor.
Solomon enjoys great peace. His father, David, fought all battles for him, and God gave him peace. With the peace, he was able to build the temple of God. If you are enjoying peace, it will be easy for you to do more for God.
Peace is the hand of God touching your aching soul
The peace of God will make you relax and never be anxious about anything. Praying to God will give you peace that will ensure your safety. When you work, you will not be afraid. When you start a business, God will take it and control it for you, and your mind will be at peace.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
To enjoy the peace today, pray, give thanks, and ask God to do whatever you want.

Prayer for Today
It is a beautiful day that You have made, Heavenly Father, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I declare that Your peace, which surpasses all human understanding, will be in my heart today. Peace will reign in all that I do today. If any storm wants to arise today, I command the peace of God to flow into it and calm it. Jesus said, “Peace be with you.” Therefore, I ask You, Lord, for Your peace in all the situations I may find myself in today. Today, I find peace that gives me rest. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
