A daily prayer for January 24. Having a role model is not bad for Christians. We study what they do and get things that can inspire us to do more from them.
Bible Verse for Today
“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children” (Ephesians 5:1).
The Bible advises us to make the Lord our role model, follow God because He is the true master to follow. He has a life in Him when we make Him our role model we take the right way. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and life”. When we make Him our role model we be like Him, we imitate Him and we also choose life.
The Bible says there are life and death, we have the opportunity to choose. We are advised to choose life. Deuteronomy 30:19 “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you, life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live”. When we use man as our role model, we are bound to make mistakes too, because man is not perfect. Lord is perfect, follow God.

Paul also advised that we should imitate Christ just like he is doing. 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ”. When you follow Jesus’ examples and make Him your role model, you will ever be successful. All you do will prosper because, in Him, there is prosperity, success, and glory.
Make Jesus your first role model today and follow his examples unto success.
Follow God Prayer for Today
Man is not perfect so if I make a man my ultimate role model, then I am bound to do mistakes or fail. But if I make you Lord my ultimate role model, a light will shine on my path. I will never be able to make mistake, and I will be successful.
Therefore, Lord Jesus, I make you my number one role model today. I want to do the things you do, I want to behave just like you, I want to show love to people and heal people. I pray that you help me, Lord. Amen.
