The genuine worshiping God – Prayer for January 25. The issue of worship cannot be overemphasized. As a matter of fact, the primary reason God created man was that man should worship Him.
Bible Verse for Today
“The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will, they were created and have their being” (Revelation 4:10-11).
Despite the fact that we are created for the purpose of worshiping God, the Lord still provides great benefits for us as we worship Him. One these benefits are the victory that God gives you when you worship Him and sing His praises. In the case of Judah, when he started to sing, the Lord arose and forth their battles. Also, when Paul and Silas were in the prison, the sing praises and worship God that the foundation the prison was shaken and the chain were broken from their hands and legs. Worshiping God gives victory that you can never underestimate.
The true worship that God seeks is the type of worship you give Him from a pure heart. John 4:23 “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” God wants you to worship with a pure, it really doesn’t matter the lyrics but what matters is the heart from which the worship is coming from. Give God the genuine worship and experience a great victory.
Worshiping God Prayer for Today
Thank you, Lord, for creating me to worship you. Thank you for replacing me with stones to worship you. You are forever merciful. You are the greatest, you are pure and perfect, and you are the one that can do all things.
Help me Lord to give you a quality worship with a pure heart, help you to give you an undiluted praise. As I sing praises unto you Lord and worship you, let the blessings that are attached to worship be mine. Amen.
