“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)
We can’t attain perfection by ourselves. Trying to be righteous by ourselves as a Christian is a terrible mistake because by doing so, we are not acknowledging God’s righteousness. Romans 10:3 says, that we need to submit to God for a change of heart and that is the only way we can be righteous in his sight. If we say we are totally righteous, we are a liar (1 John 1:8) and even our claimed righteousness is like a filthy garment in the eyes of God (Isaiah 64:6). It is God’s power to change your life.
Even though God knows who we really are, he loves us in spite of our failures and weaknesses. He want to clothe us in garment of righteousness. Instead of trying to hide yourself and trying to be righteous by yourself, submit to God and let him transform you from the inside out to the better. He will give you a new heart and create a new spirit in you. When God changes you, you will become beautiful and everything you do will be monitored by him so you will have no fault and failure. Whatever you start to do also would be made prosper.

Father Lord, I worship you because you are great, I thank you for you have done for me and my family. You have been so nice to us and so compassionate to us. I wish I could say more than thank you but I still show a heart of appreciation. Please accept my thanks Lord.
Lord, refill my heart today with your spirit and change my ways, change me within and without. Lord, please forgive my past mistakes and cleanse me. I want to be a man after your heart, I want to closer to you Lord, create in me a new heart and purify me. Lord change me and reposition me for greatness today. Amen.
