I give love to all of my people, praise and glory to God in all things – Prayer for March 22. Giving to God and to people that are in need is the act of showing love. Let’s tell God to create in us the mind that gives.
Bible Verse for Today
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)
Some years back, after preaching in a small church I was invited to, I preached on giving. A man came to me and offered me 50 dollars, I knew the man didn’t have much. I smiled and I told him to keep it but he insisted. I collected the money with joy, and the man asked when I would come to visit the church again.
After six months I got an invitation from the church again. After preaching, the same came to me but now his dressing has changed. He asked me if I remember him, I said “of course I do, and thanks for the $50.” He smiled and shared his testimony, he said “I gave you the money because I want to convince myself and people that giving still attracts blessing.” What happened is that the man got a contract second week of the day he gave me the money, and his life was transformed.
Even though it is written that “Do not put the LORD your God to test” (Deuteronomy 6:16). God still, he told us to test him in the area of giving, that is to show that he meant his words (Malachi 3:10).

Dear Lord, I thank you for a new day like this, I thank you for the gift of life, and also for the true love you are showing and nothing can stop you from loving me.
All that I have done to displease you, all the things that I have withhold that’s not giving you glory, Lord have mercy and forgive me.
I want to show love by giving Lord. Create in me a heart that gives cheerfully. I want to be blessed, I want to experience increase as I give to people. Amen.
