As we approach the end of Lent, it is time to reflect on our journey and renew our hope in the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
Lent Daily Devotional
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)
This verse is a powerful reminder that when we trust God, He will give us the strength to overcome any obstacle.
The image of soaring on wings like eagles is a beautiful one. Eagles are known for their strength, power, and grace. We can tap into that same strength, power, and grace when we trust the Lord. Then, we can soar above our problems with a renewed sense of purpose and direction.

But this verse is not just about soaring on wings like eagles. It is also about running, not growing weary, walking, and not fainting. It reminds us that even when we are not soaring, we can still find the strength to keep going. We can run the race set before us with endurance, knowing that God is with us every step of the way.
Renew Hope in the Lord
We can do so with renewed hope and a sense of purpose as we look to the future. We can dream of beautiful things, knowing God has forgiven us and freed us from our past mistakes. So let us put our hope in the Lord and trust that He will renew our strength so that we can soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, and walk and not faint.
