“If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.” (Isaiah 58:10)
God loves to help people who are suffering and in need. We need to come closer to God, and our love for him will grow. At the same time, we should increase our passion to spend every day improving the lives of others. God’s passion for loving others should become my passion.
We should have a high priority in our lives as Christians. It takes determination and dedication to help and love others. God wants us to live that way. He says that if we give from the heart and sacrifice ourselves for others, he can use us. “then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will be like the noonday.” (Isaiah 58:10)
Do not concentrate so much on your situation, but share the love of Jesus with others. Your joy and peace will increase, and your challenges will suddenly not seem so high.

God, I want to share the love of Jesus with others. Lord, I like your love to become my love. Please show me how I can reorder my priorities and treat others how You want me to treat them. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
