Trusting in God’s love – Prayer for December 22. Bible says that all we were created in God’s image, and God lives in us. So never say or think anything negative about yourself, such as “I never do anything right, or I will not change. I look terrible, or I’m ugly. I’m stupid. Who can love me?”

“This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.” (1 John 4:13-15)
The Holy Spirit reveals to us that we are in God, and God is in us. Therefore, what we say and think about ourselves shows our attitude toward ourselves and influences our lives.

You have to say good things about yourself that align with the Bible. Doing so, you develop inner confidence and understand who you are in Christ. For example: “I am righteous before God. His beloved Son accepts me. God made me unique and His image. God doesn’t make mistakes.”
Let us start our day by speaking positive things. You can do that on the way to work or do housework. Feel encouraged to stand before the mirror and say aloud, “God loves and accepts me.” As you speak positive truths about yourself, you also succeed in being and loving yourself as God made you.
Trusting in God’s Love Prayer for Today
God, feel that you love and accept me. The more I know you, the more I feel your true love. Please let me feel confident to live the way you created me. Lord, teach me to open my heart to Your divine love. God, I want to trust in your love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
