Prayer for February 8. God Saves. Jesus is the beginning of a new life. Once we give our lives to Him, He saves us from death. Yes, God saves us! He also bore our sins, sicknesses, and sorrows so that we can have a blessed and joyful life.
Bible Verse for Today
“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12)
Jesus is our hero, the reason we can boast about a better tomorrow.
He is the reason we have hope for a good thing. We were once a sinner, and we can’t move closer to God because of our sins. Not that the hand of God is short to save us… Jesus came to fill the gap between us by sacrificing himself and taking all our sins.
Now, we have unlimited access to God through Him because Jesus is the way to Him. I am the way, the truth, and life… God saves us.
Now that Jesus has carried all sins, sicknesses, infirmities, sorrows, and poverty, we can rejoice in Him and never look down on ourselves. We must start to act as one who Christ saved; we must be filled with joy all the time. He was made poor, so we are prosperous; we must believe that we are rich in Christ Jesus.

At the end of all, Jesus Christ said, “It is finished,” which means all our sorrows, troubles, poverty, and every other lousy situation has been taken away by him.
God Saves Prayer for Today
Dear Jesus, I thank you for saving me from my sins, thank you for taking my sicknesses, diseases, poverty, and my sorrows away. Thank you for giving me life in you, you saved me from the consequence of sin which is death. We have access to God the Father only because of you.
I humbly surrender all to you now, Jesus. If I have been holding back something from you in my life, I give it today for you to control. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
