BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE JUSTIFIED Prayer for February 19

by your words you will be justified

By your words you will be justified – Prayer for February 19. It is not the word of God this time; it is your words. No matter how small, the words that come from your mouth will always have an impact. So let’s tell God to help us choose our words.

Bible Verse for Today

“For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:37)

Away from talking too much we should know that even without talking too much, we can still say the wrong things. Not talking too much doesn’t mean we will tell the right things when we talk. Words have energy that pushes things to happen.

According to the scriptures, we will be justified by our words, and also, we will be condemned by our words – the one we want depends on the kind of things we say. This is why we must make sure we say the right things and refrain from words that can put us in trouble.

There was a scene in the Bible in 2 Samuel 1. Saul fell on his sword, and it happened that a young man was there, an Amalekite. Saul told this man to kill him because he was in pain and knew he could not survive. So the man killed him and took the crown; then he took the report to David.

The unexpected happened when David heard the news and all that had happened. David ordered his men to kill him because he killed the anointed. 2 Samuel 1:16 “For David had said to him, “Your blood be on your head. Your mouth testified against you when you said, ‘I killed the LORD’S anointed.’”

A man will go to heaven or hell not only by his action but also by his words. If you speak the word of God, the word of salvation, it will save you from destruction. If you do not, but you speak profane words and are mostly not moral, it can cause you to go to hell. Therefore, build your life with the right words; speak through the word of God.
