Miracle in the manger – Christmas Eve Prayer for December 24. At this time, there was no room for Joseph and the pregnant Mary to give birth; they chose to stay in the manger, and a glorious King was born.
Bible Verse for Today
“This very day in David’s town your Savior was born — Christ the Lord! And this is what will prove it to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.” (Luke 1:11-12)
In that year, when Christ was born, there was a census. Hence, Joseph and Mary had to move from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem, the city of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David (Luke 2:4). By the time they got there, there were no rooms available to stay, so they opt for the manger.

The good news is that your position or the state you are in doesn’t matter. A glorious thing can come out of you. The Savior of the world was born in the manger, which people might consider a smelling place. That is why it is said in 1 Corinthians 1:28, “He chose what the world looks down on and despises, and thinks is nothing, in order to destroy what the world thinks is important.”
Miracles can happen in your life, and they will
If a good thing can come from what people consider dirty, nothing stops you from shining, letting your light shine. Matthew 5:14: “You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden.” It was a silent, holy night of peace, and a star shone brightly.
A miracle happened in the manger that night, a miracle that an angel announced, a miracle that made people give glory to God – on this Christmas Eve, a miracle can happen in your life, and it will.

You can bring a miracle from nothing. Lord, let this Christmas Eve be the beginning of a new thing in my life and my family. Amen.
