See, I’m standing in front of the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will go in to it. (Revelation 3:20)
This Bible verse has a visual expression – the painting “The Light of the World” by the English artist William Holman Hunt. The only one who can do this is the owner of the house.

Jesus, you are standing near me and trying to enter my life. I know that I am not always ready to let you come in. Sometimes I don’t hear your voice or your knock. Please forgive me and give me time to find the moment I will be ready to enjoy your friendship. Jesus, I know you won’t leave me alone, so I open my heart to your words. Please come into my life Lord Jesus and change my soul and heart. Amen.
