Dear brothers and sisters, it is a joy to share these insights with you as we begin March 10. Today, in our Daily Devotional, Converted Thinking, we focus on the process of internal change. Real victory in the Christian life is not found in the things we own or the places we go, but in how we learn to think.
Converted Thinking – Daily Devotional for March 10
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 (NIV)
More Than Religious Habits
To be a successful Christian, you must learn to think in a completely different way. It is a common mistake to believe that victory comes from outward activities. You can attend every church service, own several translations of the Bible, and have a library full of teachings, yet still feel defeated.
While these habits are good, they do not automatically grant you victory. True change happens when you allow God to transform your thought patterns. If your mind remains stuck in old, negative ways of thinking, your life will reflect those same struggles.
A Complete Change
The word “transformed” describes a total change of appearance or a conversion into a different form. It is the same word we use when we say a person has been “converted” to Christ. God begins by converting our spirits, but the process does not stop there.
He wants to convert everything else in our lives by helping us renew our thinking. This is an ongoing process of replacing worldly logic with the truth of God’s Word. When you change your thoughts, the outward appearance of your life eventually follows.

Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of a new mind. Lord, I realize that I cannot live a victorious life if my thoughts are still tied to my old ways. Please help me to recognize negative or harmful thought patterns today. Teach me how to renew my mind with Your truth. I want my life to be a total reflection of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
To You
Notice your thoughts today. When you catch yourself thinking something fearful or negative, stop and say, “That is the old way of thinking.” Replace that thought with a simple truth from the Bible, such as “God is with me.”
