Find your joy in Jesus – Prayer for December 20. Joy in life is a gift from God. The more time we spend in God’s presence, the more joy comes to our lives. Jesus makes it possible for us to have joy even when life seems not to go as we wish.

So often, we think that some situations in our lives will never change and always will stay the same. In the same, we believe that we will never change and will never be as good and successful as other people. The only one who will not change is God. Everything else can change, including you and your situation.

However, those with no hope that their situation will change probably experienced no change. So often, we endure things we would not have to take. Instead of trusting in God and His help, we stare at the circumstances we do not have in our hands.
Here’s the good news: You can enjoy life if you want it.
But you must believe that God wants you to experience true joy. And it would be best if you decided to live in that joy. It is essential for your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. God, Himself does not change, but He can change you if you allow Him to come into your life and situation.

God, sometimes I feel that my situation will never change. But I know you can change it and me. Lord, I give you all my worries and cares; I want to accept your joy and trust you to change my life. Lord, I want to find my joy in Jesus. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
