Fullness of joy in the presence of God – Prayer for February 12. What is missing in most people’s life now is joy. Many people go about buying things that will bring happiness or making friends give them joy, but in the end, they don’t get the honest Joy.
Bible Verse for Today
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is the fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11)
The Bible text is a viral verse of the Bible; we recite it more often, but how we interpret it to make it look so superficial. This is the presence of God that is being mentioned and what it brings. We must find our way into the presence of God because the joy we are looking for, the real joy, is in the presence of God.
We may think hanging out with our loved ones can give us the joy we seek, but we are left alone with our sadness after everything. God’s presence provokes an unexplainable joy.
We say that it brings unexplainable joy and absolute joy because it settles all the problems we have in our lives. We are unhappy because of our challenges – we want to do some things but are hindered by difficulties, which break us. When we get into the presence of God, we receive a solution that brings true joy.

God desires to give us joy and happiness, he wants to settle our problem and make them as though they were not. When we have the joy of God, everything becomes easy for us.
We need trust in God to get into his presence and get this joy that we are looking for. When others see us and feel our joy in Christ, they will be moved to trust in God for this joy. Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
