God’s reconciling love – Prayer for May 30. As a Christian, a follower of Christ, we must exhibit one of his major character which is showing love. Let’s allow God to show us how to love.
Bible Verse for Today
“Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who love, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God; for God is love.” (Matthew 22:39)
One of our duty as Christian is to show love to people.
We must love God. Matthew 22:37 says, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart.” Matthew 22:39 “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Loving your neighbor is a golden rule from God that you must live with daily.
Above this, loving God is the most important but how can you love God without loving your neighbor? Showing love includes helping people, let people know you as Christ-like. Hebrews 13:1 says, “Let brotherly love continue“.
Wherever you find yourself today, whether you are an employer or an employee, you need to show your colleagues love by building their self-esteem. Anything they do for you, just thank them and make them know you really appreciate it. By doing that you are helping and building yourself too.
Showing love to people will also make you happy and there will be no reason for sadness.
God’s Reconciling Love Prayer for Today
Dear Lord, I want to say thank you for making me see today, and I thank you for showing me great God’s reconciling love. If not for you I don’t know where I would be right now.
I know it’s because of you that I’m alive, I can’t keep myself alive no doubt about that. For that, I say thank you.
The Bible recorded that you are the God of love and anyone that does not love does not know you. I want you to teach me the way of love today. I want to show love by helping people, I want to make an impact in people’s life.
Lord, I believe all that I’ve asked you will do for me. Let today be a perfect day for me and at the end of today, let me have reasons to give thanks to your name. Amen.
