Praise and worship of God. What is it? What is the difference between praise and worship?
God wants us to turn to Him as the Father. In the prayer of “Our Father,” Jesus says, “Blessed be thy name.”
The word “blessed” expresses worship and respect for God. Worship sets our spirits to meet God. Worship turns on our hearts.
If you want to listen to the radio, turn it on and tune it to the desired wave. Worship helps to turn our spirits and adjust them to God’s wave.
Jesus said: “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only. ” (Matthew 4:10)
Worship must precede any other ministry. It is a form of prayer.
What does it mean to worship God
To worship God means to honor God for who He is, delight in His and His might, and delight in His wisdom and power.
More information: Praise and Worship
When you worship God, you admire Him in humility before Him. And when you worship God, you realize that you are so small compared to God.
Worship is related to the attributes of God. Therefore, the depth of your worship will depend on the degree to which you know God.
Therefore, worship of God is always associated with knowing God. The better we know God, the more we rejoice in Him. Thus, if your knowledge of God is weak, so is your worship level.
If you praise and worship God in prayer at home daily, it will be accessible in the church because it is part of your prayer life.
What does it mean to praise God
Praise is also part of worship. Praising God means honoring Him for what He is doing and being thankful to Him for what He is doing in your life. Fame, worship, and gratitude go together. Worship and praise God constantly! Be grateful to God always!
Learn to Worship
Just as Isaiah saw the Lord, he worshiped God. (Isaiah 6: 1-5)
But a person cannot see something or someone if he does not look at it. Learn to look to God. The first thing you need to do to see God when you come to God to pray is to calm down and look at God in your mind. And this is the beginning of what helps us worship God.
