Trust in Jesus for blessing – Prayer for May 26. We desire blessings in all we are going to do today. However, there is nowhere to find the blessing but in Jesus.
Bible Verse for Today
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Disappointment is what we face when we trust so much in men for blessing, and we meet this often. But, unfortunately, this has not stopped yet; we still depend on our fellow humans for one thing or another, and we get disappointed.
As Christians, we have no other option but to put all our trust in Jesus for blessing. He blesses those that trust in him, and he never disappoints.

Abraham trusted God so much. He put his faith in him, and he was mightily blessed. If Abraham didn’t trust God, the orders God gave him, he would not follow any of them. He obeyed God.
If you want a blessing from Jesus, you must obey him; if you trust someone, you will abide by the person because you believe the person is leading you to somewhere great. So also, trust in Jesus and obey Him, then you will experience a great blessing.
Trust in Jesus for Blessing Prayer for Today
Dear Jesus, I thank you for today. I thank you for the previous days. You never forsake me. You are so gracious to me and have shown me your mercy. That I’m alive is not by my power but by yours, Lord; for that, I say a big thank you.
I request the power to overcome temptation today, Lord. Even though it is inevitable that temptations will come, I ask for the power to overcome them all. I believe in you for blessing me today, and I am putting my trust in you as Abraham did, and you blessed him; please, Lord, bless me too. Amen.
