I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength – Prayer for April 2. As a Christian, bear in mind that nothing can stop you. No storm can hold you or blow you away because you are grounded in Jesus. You are mighty through Christ who strengthens you. Yes, I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength!
Bible Verse for Today
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
Christ is our pillar, he made us strong so we have nothing to fear. We can do all things through him, we can move mountains, and we can command storm to stay calm. It is because the power in us is mighty, that’s the power of God given to us through Christ. Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Do you know the eagle? The eagle is a bird that is not afraid of the storm, in fact, when the eagle sees a storm coming, it flies into the storm to gain new altitude. By the power of God in us, we have been given the strength to stand in the storm and even use it to fly higher like the eagle.
Do not be afraid of any storm, let it come. It is a means of flying higher. The strength of God in us is enough to help us through. Know that you are mightier. Storms may come in form of different challenges we face in life, in your career, job, or education. Learn to lean on the strength of God and stand firm. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength
Lord, I thank you for making me strong for you. I believe I am strong and mighty, I shall overcome enemies today. I am a soaring eagle, my wings shall not be cut off, and in the face of the storm, I shall go higher. By the power of God, I am more than a conqueror. I shall not be beaten down because my God is mighty, therefore, I am mighty.
Today, I shall be revealed mighty, people will see God in me. Amen.
