Holy Spirit guides us – Prayer for June 25. The Holy Spirit, when we have it, guides us and leads us on the right path to find the hidden treasures. We must have the Holy Spirit for us to be able to get him to guide us.
Bible Verse for Today
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13)
At first, through the Holy Spirit, we get a vision from God, and to follow it, we’ll still need the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to face any challenges that may come our way. Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”
While doing what has been told to us, the enemy will always rise to shift our focus away from the goal, which is why we need the power of the Holy Spirit to stop them.
When Potiphar’s wife called Joseph to sleep with her, he could have easily yielded to what Potiphar’s wife said, but the Spirit in him would not allow him. He gave him the power to say no.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God; nothing is hidden away from him. When we accept Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, our eyes will be opened to some truths that will direct our steps in discovering treasures.
The Holy Spirit will tell us the treasure we need at a time and how to get it. It also tells us what to do to get them, not only these, but also guides us on how to use the treasures for good. If there is anything we Christians should be praying earnestly for these days, it is the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer for Today
Lord, I need the Holy Spirit in my life, the Spirit of truth. I believe that the Holy Spirit, which is your spirit, can help me and guide me to discover the treasures. I plead for the Holy Spirit today, and I receive it today. Amen.
