Jesus gives strength – Prayer for February 14. The true strength will give one the ability to solve every problem and withstand challenges. The true strength comes from Christ and we will only get it if we believe in Him and follow Him.
Bible Verse for Today
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
There is only one path that God recognizes and that is Jesus Christ. If there are things we want to ask from God, we have to ask through Christ. He has become like the mediator and He makes things happen for us.
In the Bible there is a popular verse that we recite more often. What the verse says about getting things from God is that God will give us the things we ask through Christ alone who gives strength. There is nothing in this world that would be impossible for us to achieve only if we try to do them in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is the only way we can get the true strength in this life.
We have battles to fight – battles will come and we need Jesus Christ, the source of true strength to face the battle and win. Jesus gives strength.
In anything you do today, the project you want to do, in your career, in your studies, in the society, everything you have planned to do, the Bible made it clear that you can do all of it by the power of Jesus. Zechariah 4:6 “So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” This is the Lord telling Zerubbabel that all he has done, the things he has achieved is not by his power but the Lord’s power.
All the things Zerubbabel had done is through the power of the Lord. It was possible because we can do anything through Christ. He promised us power. Acts 1:8. The Holy Spirit gives us the inner strength to Christ – we get the strength in Christ by the Holy Spirit because it is the Spirit of Christ that Jesus promised to send us.
Jesus Gives Strength Prayer for Today
Righteous God, I thank you for today – I’m happy because through you, Christ, I can do all things. I can have success in my business, I can have success in my place of work. And I can have success because of the power you have given me. Thank you for the Grace, Lord. I pray that you never let your power depart from me. Amen.
