The living faith, Prayer for February 12. We must keep our faith alive at all times because it pleases God. Let’s tell God to make our faith alive in Christ.
Bible Verse for Today
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).
When faith is at work, it is considered living, but it is dead when you don’t put it to work. Once, we were in sin, and we were deemed dead, but glory be to Jesus for saving us and making us alive in Him.
We are now alive in Christ; we can’t have a faith that doesn’t work-that’s dead faith. To make our faith live, we must walk in faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Devotional for every day: Daily Devotional
It is not enough to have faith alone because that’s not what makes it alive. Making sure that it works is what makes it alive. James 2:24 says: “You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone”.
Let’s put our faith to work in all we do today, because that is the only way to keep faith alive and please God, too.
Prayer for Today
Dear Father, I thank you for the presence of Christ in me. He’s the glory of my life and the reason my faith is alive. My life is the manifestation of the glory and righteousness of God. Thank you, Father, for making my faith triumph in all situations. For your sake, I live a triumphant life.
Lord, let not my faith be dead; make alive faith in Christ. In all I do, let me be able to exercise faith and let it work for me by the power of Jesus. As I behold the glory of God in faith, I’m transformed into that same image in Jesus’ name. Amen.
