DON’T GROW WEARY IN DOING GOOD Prayer for December 12

don't grow weary in doing good

Advent. Don’t grow weary in doing good – Prayer for December 12. All we should care for is consistency. If we are doing good now, we should continue and never stop because the end is near than ever.

Bible Verse for Today

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

Many people start well, but only a few ended well. It is the end that separates boys from men.

The zeal is always greater at the beginning, but along the line, frustration comes in, disappointment comes in, that is when the zeal starts to die down. Not everyone will continue with the same energy they started with.

An example is students admitted, everyone smile and they have the zeal and a goal which is to finish well. In the middle, some dropped and some stop putting a lot of effort. You may have put a lot of efforts into starting, if you relax along the way, all the efforts at the beginning will be wasted.

If you are getting good grades in school, don’t relax but put more efforts into it instead so that you can finish well.

In this same way, consistency is needed in this Christian life. We can’t be coming up and going down at the same time, we must be consistent and focus on the finishing part, that is the part where Jesus will come to pick us home. This is the greatest thing that can happen to us.

Devotional for every day: Daily Devotional

As a Christian, you may have overcome many temptations in the past, but the devil is now whispering to you that it’s okay to indulge in a little sin now, after all, you tried.

Don’t listen, he wants to destroy your end. Until you have made it to heaven, you have to keep running, no resting. Remember don’t grow weary in doing good. The young prophet in 1 Kings 13:14-24 had a very good beginning, but he stopped and it caused him to have a bad ending.

Don’t Grow Weary in Doing GoodPrayer for Today

Father Lord, I want to thank you for what you have done for me. I thank you for my starting and I believe that you will help me to end well. Lord, I want to be consistent in this race of life. I want to run it with you by my side all day. Help me to stay on track and never to deviate and move out of your plans. When Jesus will come, let me be doing the right thing. Amen.
