God-Breathed Life into Humans – Prayer for May 4. God’s breathe makes someone or something come to life. When God breathes on your effort, it will yield success. Let’s tell God to breathe life into our efforts today.
Bible Verse for Today
“I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 37:6b)
Breathing is what makes us stay alive when someone’s breathing is taken away, it leads to death.
We have been trying our best to put our efforts into a task that we want to achieve success from. God breathed life into humans. When God breathes in the effort, it yields success faster. God’s breath also gives strength to the spirit and the body. For us to get God to breathe in our effort, we must have an intimacy with God.
If we are working without God’s support, things might get hard. Psalm 127:1 “A song of ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” Psalm 127:1 is saying that we need to let God support us in all we do for a better result. We all engage in some kind of work or have responsibilities we carry – we face constant pressure from different areas such as family, career, or financial pressures. We find these enough to make us worry because we want to be successful in everything.
God doesn’t want us to worry and he promised to breathe on our efforts.
God Breathed Life into Humans Prayer for Today
You, God, breathed life into humans. Lord, I want you to breathe into my effort. I don’t want to work in vain, I want you to make my efforts alive and yield success. Your power works in me and gives me the strength to do what might seem impossible, my job, my career, my education, and my family, I am putting effort to make it successful.
My effort without your breath will be nothing, I need you to breathe on it Lord, stretch forth your hand, and help me to achieve better. I want to have a success story Lord in Jesus name. Amen.
