Finding Peace in His Presence
Life often feels like a series of heavy demands. We carry the weight of our responsibilities, our worries about the future, and the pressure to perform. We often try to solve these problems on our own, carrying our loads until we are completely worn out. But Jesus does not ask us to fix everything before we approach Him. He invites us to come exactly as we are.
This rest He promises is not just a break from work. It is a deep, soul-level comfort that comes from knowing we do not have to carry the world on our shoulders.
When we bring our burdens to Him, we admit that He is in control. True rest is found when we stop striving in our own strength and start trusting in His grace. He invites us to set our heavy loads down at His feet so that we can walk in the freedom of His companionship.

Prayer for Today
Lord, I am often tired from trying to carry everything on my own. Thank You for the gentle invitation to come to You. Forgive me for holding onto my worries instead of handing them over to You. Please take these burdens from me today and replace them with the peace that only You can give. Help me to trust that You are holding me even when things feel heavy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
