Staying strong in faith – Prayer for October 31. Praise the Lord, everybody!
Unfortunately, in these last and evil days before Christ comes for His church, the persecution of Christians will become increasingly prevalent all over the world, especially in America, where we have escaped without so much as a scratch. But the Saints are going to have to step up their game.
Bible Verse for Today
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it. (Matthew 11:12)
As the spirit of the Anti-Christ begins to spread through the fabric of this nation and the world. The very mention of Christ in this country is suddenly “offensive” to non-believers and is a “violation” of their rights. With opposition to Christianity growing daily, Matthew 11:12 was never more significant than now.
The Kingdom of God has been forcefully advancing as forceful men and women who can stand against all opposition, lay hold of it, and not only stand but advance the good news of God’s coming Kingdom worldwide.
As we draw closer and closer to that “great getting up morning,” many will fall away, unable to take the heat, but those of us who are forceful will stand and continue against all opposition.
These are the types of Saints God wants us to be; this is the kind it will take when the time comes when people will spit on you and curse you for just passing out Christian pamphlets. They will assault and murder you for preaching the Gospel.
Devotional for every day: Daily Devotional
Only those who are strong will survive, not strong in self but strong in faith, the knowledge of God’s word, prayer, and relationship with Christ. So it’s time to “muscle up” for the Kingdom of God. God bless you all.
Staying Strong in Faith Prayer for Today
Father God, help us be more forceful in our desire to serve you and be obedient. God, teach us how to stay strong in faith. Lord, help us advance the Gospel of Christ and the Kingdom of God more forcefully. Let us not be slack in our good deeds. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
