Lord be with me – Prayer for February 13. We are in a world that there are things that we are afraid of. We are of things we want to do or things we have done. Let’s tell God to help us overcome fear. Ask Him: “Lord be with me!”
Bible Verse for Today
“But now, this is what the Lord says – he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1).
As Christian, we have a different kind of fight will fight, the Bible called it a good fight.
Not only Christians have battles or fights they should fight, everyone has. The difference between us is that we are made conquerors in Christ Jesus and that is why God is assuring us not to be afraid of anything. We already have victory in Jesus. Joshua was at first afraid to lead the Israelites, God saw this and he encouraged him and told him not to be afraid.
The Lord is with you in all you do so you have no reason to be afraid of what the day will bring or what anyone will do to you. Psalm 118:6 “The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” When the presence of God is with us, we are surely safe and we should not be afraid. Psalm 23:4. Ask for the presence of God to follow you today and you will see that fear will have no place in you because he will encourage you and comfort you.
When you seem to be afraid, just trust in God. Psalm 56:3 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you”.
Lord be with Me Prayer for Today
The power of God is manifested in my life and therefore, I am fearless. I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. I shall not be afraid of the terror that flies by name, no evil shall fall on me.
Today, I shall enjoy the peace of God on all sides. If temptations come my way, I shall overcome them by the power of Jesus. The presence of God shall follow me today and I will be blessed in Jesus name. Amen.
