Bible verse about procrastination

Bible verse about procrastination – How to stop and what does God say how to overcome it. Prayer for March 17.  Procrastination destroys plans and timing, it is also the source of laziness in a life. Therefore, let’s tell God to help us deal with the spirit of procrastination today. Ask His help to stop procrastinating.

Bible Verse for Today

“If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.” (James 4:17)

Procrastinating is not doing what you ought to do in the right time. Procrastinating is not just what destroys plans and time, it is also a sin. We must know that time is very precious, what must be done must be done without hesitation. The truth about procrastination is that, the more we procrastinate, we shift our blessing to another day, we shift our harvest day forward and it might eventually become too late. Proverbs 20:4 “A lazy person does not plow in the fall. He looks for something in the harvest but finds nothing.

Not only should we stop procrastinating, we must also do whatever we found ourselves doing, we should do it with all our heart. Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” We need God to overcome procrastination and recover whatever we have lost through procrastination.

Bible verse about procrastination. How to stop it and what does God say how overcome it. Prayer for Today

Lord I thank you for who you are in my life. I thank you for the amazing gifts you have endowed me with. You have granted me opportunity to do great things, you have blessed me so much. I will continually thank you for all I have and even for the ones I don’t have yet because I know you will provide them in no time.

Teach me to forgive and forget. Help me to stand in the right path you want me to stand so I will be blessed by you. Guide me through temptation, do not let me fall into temptation.

Lord I want to stop procrastinating, I want to do things I needed to do right on time. I don’t want procrastinating cast into laziness thereby depriving me good things. I want to be able to sow at the right time and harvest at the right time. Lord help to achieve these in Jesus name. Amen.
