Claim victory over sin

Claim victory over sin today – Prayer for June 2. As Christian, we must learn how to claim victory over every situation and all our sins in life.

Bible Verse for Today

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Because we are Christ born, we have the power in us already.

We should not let any situation overcome us. Job 22:28 “You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you” It is part of our duty to fight some fight of faith. This is the fight that the bible tag as “good fight.” You don’t have to sit down and watch yourself being overcome by challenges, you are a victor therefore you must fight.

Romans 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for slaughter. Nat, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loves us.”

The apostles of Jesus in the Bible faced all sorts of tribulations and challenges but because they know how to claim victory, they were always victorious. So don’t be afraid and claim victory over sin today.

As you are going out today, know that it is normal to face challenges, temptations, and tribulations. But it won’t be normal if you allow them to overcome you by not claiming victory over sin. If you don’t bind them, they will overwhelm you. It is written that “whatever we shall bind on earth shall bind in heaven?”

Claim Victory over Sin Prayer for Today

Lord, I thank you for the power of victory that is in me, it’s amazing. Thank you because the power will never stop working. Thank you for the victory over the power that destroys in the nighttime.

I know that what can stop the power of victory to stop working in me is sin, which is why I’m asking you for forgiveness.

Show me mercy lord and let your love speak for me. Lord, I claim victory over sin today in the name of Jesus. Victory over sickness, victory over poverty, victory over bad luck, victory over failure, victory over the disappointment, victory over sorrow, and above all victory over sin. Amen.
