Daily Devotional for June 19

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

Seek Strength in Christ

Jesus reminds us that He is our refuge and source of strength. In Him, we find solace for our weary souls and the assurance that we do not face life’s challenges alone. He offers us rest and promises to carry our burdens, lightening our load.

When we draw near to Christ through prayer, worship, reading His Word, and the love of our neighbor, we tap into His limitless power and grace. His presence strengthens us and encourages us to persevere, even in the face of adversity.

The apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Through our union with Christ, we find the inner fortitude to face each day with courage and hope.
