Blessed are those who endure Devotional Prayer for January 30

Blessed are those who endure – Devotional prayer for today January 30. Some things will come up in this Christian race that will want to make you lose your faith in Christ. Yet, you must stand firm and persevere.

Bible Verse for Today

“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” (James 1:12)

To persevere means to keep pushing, it means not to give up, and it means to keep going forward. Giving up can make one lose the reward of hard work in this life. Persevering is not easy; it is so tricky that it involves pain, persecution, frustration, and disappointment and could cause unrest in someone.

But the Bible says, “Blessed is the man who endures.” There is always a payday if you work hard now and you work according to the will of God, and you will always be rewarded.

Your reward can come from man, God can use anyone for you, and God himself can reward you. For you to get this reward, you keep pushing. Jesus told the Bible story of the widow who appealed to a judge who feared no one to plead her case. The judge refused her many times, but she didn’t give up until she was attended to.

It won’t be nice when we are doing the work of God, and then we stop in the middle of it. The crown is for those that will push it till the end, not those that will give up.

The Bible says such a person will receive the crown of life. The blessing that is attached to working hard cannot be comprehended. Paul the apostle, despite the persecution, made one thing his focus: heaven. He wanted this crown, and he was focused that he kept on looking unto Jesus. In your school or your place of work, don’t give up doing good; keep working hard, and success will surely locate you.

Blessed are those who Endure Prayer for Today

Lord, I confess that I gave up too soon and stopped working as I should have because I had no patience. Lord, forgive and help me to make adjustments. I want to continue working for you. And I want to stay focused and never give up. I make you the author and the finisher of my faith today. The blessing attached to perseverance, Lord, let it be mine. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
