GROWING TOGETHER IN CHRIST Prayer for January 22

growing together in Christ

Growing together in Christ – Prayer for January 22. We Christians need to start caring for each other because we are bonded by the blood of Jesus, which makes us family. Let’s learn to pray for others.

Bible Verse for Today

“as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.” (2 Corinthians 1:11)

It is the will of God to bless everyone and to make everyone care for each other. When Jesus said, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” it is not only by giving but by praying for each other and encouraging each other.

Intercession is the process where a person positions themselves between two people, one with a need or a problem and the other with the answer or solution. As a teenager or an adult, you are not too young or old to pray for people. Many people have taken the work of God on themselves, and the missionaries have gone to the entire world to ensure the gospel gets to everyone, not minding the consequences that may come from it.

If you can send gifts, your prayer can get to them, too.

When anyone needs your help, it would be better to pray with such a person; it’s a sign that you care. Jesus never stopped praying for his disciples and the people; he took it upon himself to intercede for people.

If we are born of Christ and called to be in his circle, we must find ourselves doing what he does, which is part of intercession. The secret of praying for others is that God will never leave your case unsettled; he will answer your needs. Please don’t feel you are worthless when you find it impossible to settle the needs of people.

Growing Together in Christ – Prayer for Today

Dear Lord, I worship you for the mercy I have received to be alive today. I thank you because you never stopped praying for us from heaven, Lord Jesus. I pray that you teach me to be selfless and pray for others every time. Let my prayers be answered, Lord. Amen.
