God wants an intimate relationship with us – Prayer for July 29. God always wants to be very close to us. He wants to know everything about us, our lives, our problems. He wants to be part of our lives. Never refuse to be close to our Creator.

Do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? (James 4:5)
The above scripture says that the Holy Spirit dwells in us and is jealous of our faithfulness.
Yes, we are the ones who determine how close our relationship with God should be. Although the Holy Spirit lives in us, the Holy Spirit will not impose this relationship on us. He wants us to welcome him into our lives. He wishes we were close to God.
God wants an intimate relationship with us. He wants to know everything about us. He wants to be part of our lives.
God has made us a community, and he desires this relationship with us very much. He longs to talk to us, to listen to us, to teach and guide us – He wants to be part of our lives. We are renewed internally when we have fellowship with God.
Please always take time for this relationship with God. He says, “Come to me!” So, open up and discover what he has for you! The only thing you need is to be close to God.

God, it touches me how much you desire a relationship with me. My Lord, I want to draw closer to you, and I want to be near you. God, thank you for loving me and coming to me when I come to you. It’s extraordinary to be able to share my life and thoughts with you. God, you always listen and always answer all my questions. My Lord, never leave me alone. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
