Jesus is our hope source – Prayer for July 26. Praise the Lord, everybody. In these last and evil days, the world has turned to blockbuster movies and movie characters for diversion from the problems of their everyday lives. But Christians have a better hope source.
Bible Verse for Today
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1:5)
In the World, people have fictitious Super Hero characters that they can fantasize about, who come to the rescue whenever evil tries to take over the world. These crusaders are usually dark, brooding characters who walk a thin line between good and evil, light and darkness. These Heroes protect the people, but you never know when they might turn to the dark side.
Unfortunately for the world, they are only made-up characters, but thanks to God, we believers have a true hero, and his name is Jesus Christ, and He is alive and well and seated at the Father’s right hand.

We don’t have to worry about Him leaving us for the dark side because He is the Light of the World, and when the light comes, darkness flees. Darkness cannot overcome the light, and Jesus said, “I’ll never leave you or forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
So, whenever the darkness of evil tries to conquer your world remember, “Who are you going to call?” Jesus Christ! The light of the world. God Bless.
Jesus is our Hope Source Prayer for Today
Father God, help us to always remember from where comes my help; my help comes from the Lord. We thank you that we don’t have to depend on diversions from comic book characters to make it through these last and evil days. We thank you that our lives are in the hands of our Lord, Savior, and deliverer, Jesus Christ, who is seated at your right hand forever. Father, please help us to remember all these things in our times of trouble. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
