JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY Lent #day 38

Jesus is the only way

Jesus is the only way – Prayer for Lent #day 38. Decisions you make now will impact you, your future, and the generations to come. However, if we make decisions without asking that God put us through, it might not yield anything good.

Bible Verse for Today

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

It all starts with a Decision in your Heart

A decision is very important as everything we do starts with a decision in our hearts. Decide that you want to stop being frustrated, decide you want to be free, and decide to follow the only way out of your struggles.

Jesus is the only way. Decide you want to follow him now. It would be best if you renewed the way you think. The mind needs to be renewed so that the thought of starting a new beginning can be there. Decide you want to discover these treasures. Ephesians 4:23 “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.”

Follow up with Action

The woman with the issue of blood decided to touch Jesus, and she discovered the treasure of healing. But, sometimes, the decision alone cannot work except an action follows.

If the woman with the issue of blood had decided alone and never attempted to touch Jesus, she wouldn’t have discovered that. Matthew 9:21 “She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

A decision will make you ask God how to discover the treasure, and he will surely answer. John 4:13 “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

Think it over

We must know that we must not rush to make decisions. Instead, we must do proper research and deep thinking. So, in this season of Lent, think about the treasure you are seeking, will it help you grow or destroy you?

The rich man in the Bible unlocked the treasure of wealth, but his decision destroyed him. Luke 12:19-20 “And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat and drink, and be merry!” “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

Jesus is the Only Way Prayer for Today

Thank you, Lord, for helping to make a choice to follow you. Thank you because it is a good choice. Lord, today I lean on you. I trust in you alone and follow you to make a decision and not rely on my intelligence.

If I have made some wrong decisions in the past that I am facing the consequences now, help me correct my mistakes now, and if the consequences are not showing forth yet, help me correct them now before it’s too late. Lord, you are the only right way! Amen.
