THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU Prayer for January 20

the kingdom of God is within you

The Kingdom of God is within you – Prayer for January 20. God has given us the key to the Kingdom; we must start to exercise the power God has given us as one who shares the Kingdom.

Bible Verse for Today

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be  bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be  loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19)

The Kingdom of God is supreme and reigns over every other kingdom. 1 Chronicles 29:11 says, “Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.”

The Lord is the Highest, so His Kingdom is higher than everyone and everything. Therefore, the authority and power of God’s Kingdom are supreme, final, and ultimate.

The Bible Text opens with the word of the Lord Jesus to Peter, telling him that He will give him the keys to the Kingdom. What else can we ever dream of getting, if not these keys, that can open any door of life filled with the power of God?

These keys will help us to bind anything on the earth, and it will be bound in heaven, and whenever we lose anything here on earth, it will be loose in heaven, too. This is the type of power God wants to have; he wants us to partake in the power of the Kingdom.

The will of God to be done on earth even as it is in heaven. There is no sickness in heaven, neither sin, lack, nor bad situations. If we can get ourselves into this Kingdom and invite God into our lives, he will bring the Kingdom and make it fill our hearts. This is when we will be free of sin, lack, or sickness.

We will become free and powerful whenever we accept the Kingdom of God in us. Matthew 6:33 tells us that we should seek the kingdom of God first, and then we will have all we want.
