Prayer for February 3. Keep the path of life! We all want to live; we want to live the life of God through Jesus Christ. The path of life is the path of Jesus Christ. When we are in Him, we enjoy things and we get life. Let’s tell God to direct us in the path of life.
Bible Verse for Today
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
We have been given the greatest tool which is the ability to choose, decision. There is life and there is death, we are all expected to choose one out of these and God is advising us to take the path of life, to choose life. The path we are taking right now might seem to be the right path but if it is not in line with the plans of God for us or if it doesn’t have to do with Jesus, then the path might lead to failure, disappointment, or even destruction.
We must decide today to choose the path of life, Jesus is the way to life and we must lean on Him. We need to be safe from the evil of the day, we need to be successful in all we do, we need to enjoy peace of God and never know sorrow, and we want to be blessed, then Jesus is the only right path to get all of these.
Follow the path of Jesus today, the path of life and you will live.
Keep the Path of Life Prayer for Today
Dear Father, I thank you for a beautiful day like this, I thank you for the air I breathe, and most importantly I thank you for giving me life. I want to take the path of life and I want to continue in it, I don’t want to take the path that leads to destruction Lord, help me and direct me.
I know Jesus is the sure path of life, I want to follow him in all circumstances. God, I need the strength to keep us with him. I need the strength not to swerve from this path of life. So I pray today, you should help me. Amen.
