Speaking God’s Word – Prayer for June 29. The Word of God, as we know it, is a powerful guide, a manual to discover all the hidden treasures. If we must obtain the treasures, then we must first receive the word of God and apply it.

Keep this book of the law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will prosperous and be successful. (Joshua 1:8)
The word of God itself is a treasure, and if anyone must discover the other treasures, he or she must first discover the hidden treasure of the word of God. The word of God is like a manual guide, like a map that must be used to get to this Treasure Island.
The Bible is not only a map, but it also provides instructions on how to avoid the dangers that come along the way. God told Joshua how important the word is – if he wants to be successful in his quest, then he must follow the word.
The word of God is essential because the Bible is the perfect book where you can find the correct answers to questions like, “How do I discover the hidden treasures?” Psalm 33:4a “For the word of the LORD is right and true.”
In the quest to discover the treasures, we might grow weary and faint, but the word of God gives us hope and renews our strength so that we can work more. “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31).
This word is full of divine promises that give us hope. The word of God, the Bible gives hope and encourages the discouraged ones. Use the word of God to get all the hidden treasures of your life today.
Speaking God’s Word – Prayer for Today
Lord, let your word be my guide, and let it be the map that will lead me to the place of treasures. Let your word be a lamp to my feet and the light to my path in Jesus’ name. Amen.
