“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
God Is Calling
What are the essential criteria for recognizing His divine invitation to step out in faith?
1Prayerful Discernment.
The foundation of discerning God’s call is a deep and intimate relationship with Him. Spend time in prayer, seeking His guidance and wisdom. Open your heart to His leading and listen attentively to His still, small voice.
2Alignment with God’s Word.
God will never call us to do something that contradicts His Word. Study the Scriptures diligently, meditating on His precepts and teachings. As you align your desires and aspirations with the principles in God’s Word, you will gain clarity on His call for your life.
3Confirmation through Community.
Seek the counsel of wise and mature believers who can provide godly guidance. Share your discernment journey with trusted mentors, pastors, or friends who can offer insights and help confirm God’s leadership in your life.
4Peace and Inner Witness.
When walking in alignment with God’s call, His peace will guard your heart and mind. Listen to the inner witness of the Holy Spirit, who will guide and reassure you along the way.
5Open Doors and Divine Providence.
Look for open doors and opportunities that align with your passion and giftings. God often orchestrates circumstances and brings people into our lives to confirm His call and provide the means to step into it.

Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, I seek Your guidance and direction with a humble heart. Help me discern Your call and step out in faith to fulfill Your purpose for my life. Grant me the wisdom to align my desires with Your Word and the courage to walk in obedience. Open doors, provide divine opportunities and surround me with a supportive community that confirms Your leading. May Your peace and assurance guide my every step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
