All are made in the image of God – Prayer for March 31. We Christians need to get the fact right that we are made in the image of God. We are made up of great things, we are special. So let’s tell God to open our eyes to see our real identity.
Bible Verse for Today
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)
If you don’t know who you are, you will continue to lose battles because you won’t know that you carry power.
The reason we don’t know who we are is that we are not focusing on the source of our identity which is Christ. Even though you were given birth to by your parents, they don’t know you better than God who created you. He has created you for a purpose and wants you to discover the purpose.
The best person that can tell you who you really are is God. Knowing who you are will help you to take the right path, you will get hold of all things you needed and you have been given the authority to be in control of things.
We are joint-heirs with Christ, we are the child of the Almighty God. No one can do any evil to you, he rebukes the enemies for your sake. Psalm 105:15 “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” Let people know who you are, let them know that you are the child of God.
Walk with confidence, walk-in power, and never look down on yourself.
All are Made in the Image of God Prayer for Today
Lord, I know that we all are made in the image of God. Please help me to discover myself, help me to realize the power you have embedded in me. Help me to anchor myself to you, Lord. I know that you have good plans for me and you have chosen me unto glory.
If there is any mistake I have made that can cause me to lose my place with you, Lord have mercy and forgive me.
I receive strength to do the things that will show forth your glory in me. And let your light shine in me. In Jesus name. Amen.
