CHRIST IS OUR STRENGTH Prayer for January 19

Daily prayer Christ is our strength

Christ is our strength – Prayer for January 19. Though we face trials and temptations, we are still a victor because Christ is our strength.

Bible Verse for Today

“No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37).

In all we face, be it temptations or persecution of different types, we must know that we are still a victor. We should be strong in the Lord because Christ is our strength.

As you grow in your Christian walk, you will fight some fights of faith; it is a must for every Christian. The Bible calls this fight a good one because you will win. These fights may come in a different form, to some, it comes as challenges, situations that make them cry.

To some, it may come in the form of frustration, disappointment, and even failure. When these come to you, you should know that you must fight them and will definitely win.

You don’t have to sit back and start crying when these appear. Satan loves to see Christians crying because he feels they are the weak ones, but instead, prove him wrong by standing up against all odds and fight the good fight which is the fight of faith and through Christ that strengthens you, you are more than a conqueror.

When you get out today, don’t put on a face of defeat; instead, put on a smiling face and then fight with faith, and you shall always win.

Christ is our Strength – Prayer for Today

I believe in your word, Lord, which says I am more than a conqueror through him who loved us. Christ loves us, and for this reason, I am more than a conqueror. With this belief, I overcome all challenges that may come my way today.

I declare myself a victory over every situation of my life, over my battles and temptations. Lord, I receive your encouragement to fight with the mind of victory and help me overcome my battles just like you have helped Joshua by encouraging him. Amen.
